This firm of solicitors has a long and extensive background in helping people involved in the equestrian field. They have represented clients in purchasing stables, land and property etc, and have also acted for those working with horses who have suffered injury.

Details of some of the cases they have been involved in are
set out below:

The Claimant was walking down a grassed farm track, leading a pony ridden by her son who was being followed by another pony carrying a young girl. The Defendant, was riding a horse in a hunt, which came past the Claimant and the children at a canter, as her horse drew level with the Claimant, the horse bucked and kicked the Claimant in the face.

The Claimant, suffered a severely comminuted fracture to the mandible, avulsion to the lower left mental nerve and multiple lacerations to cheeks, lower lip and tongue.

She had surgery but was left with permanent alteration in sensation on the left side of her face, scarring and the loss of a number of teeth which had to be replaced by dentures. She also suffered a problem with her neck and eventually had surgery to
remove a protruding disc.
The Claim was settled for £64,400.00.

A number of horses breached fencing and were running on a dual carriageway late at night. The Claimant, unable to see the horses, drove into them and sustained physical and psychological injury for which she was compensated.
